Eva Beard Fehrle was born in Hillsboro in 1898, the daughter of the late Matthew Lee Beard and Emma Clark Beard, departed this life on July 31, 1977 in Clayton, Georgia. She is survived by her husband Harry Fehrle, Clayton, Georgia; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy O'Donnell, Media Pennsylvania, Mrs. Peggy Reynolds, Sarasota, Florida, Mrs. Linda Walker, Charleston and one sister Mrs. Leeta Killingsworth, Marlinton and four grandchildren. Preceding her in death were brothers Sherman, Joel, Henry, Earl and Matthew Beard; and sister, Mrs. Mary Johnson. Mrs. Fehrle was an active member of the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church and Hillsboro Chapter No. 93 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
