Sabina Jannet Beard McNeel was the last surviving member of the Josiah and Rachel Poage Beard. She became the wife of Col. George S. McNeel, who preceded her in death by nearly thirty years Upon the death of her husband, Mrs. McNeel moved to Ponca City, OK where she lived at the time of her death.

Obituary : Mrs. Sabina Beard McNeel, 90th year of her age, died at Ponca City, OK May 14, 1933 after a short illness. On Tuesday she was buried in the McNeel Cemetery, the funeral being conducted from her old church and the church of her ancestors, the Oak Grove Presbyterian. Mrs. McNeel was the last surviving member of the Josiah and Rachel Poage Beard. She became the wife of Col. George S. McNeel, who preceded her in death by nearly thirty years ago. A son and two daughters survive their parents. A few years ago, a daughter Mrs. M.A.Dunlap, died. upon the death of her husband, Mrs. McNeel moved to Ponca City, OK where she lived at the time of her death.
