Married	Sarah Sabrina Walkup 10 Dec 1846, Greenbrier, WV

Came to Greenbrier County in 1856. He sold his farm, intending to go West, but located in Greenbrier County finally, and later entered the Confederate service, participating in the battles of that conflict until the close of the war.
